This is a charity event! Nudists feel it is time we turn the other cheek to our society by reaching out to those who are in need. At this time we are collecting clothes and other bare necessities which we will personally deliver to needy organizations. Whether or not you are a nudists, your contributions are valued and appreciated!

The final date for the Nudist Clothing Drive will be June 5th @ 12:00pm. If you are a nudist and would like to participate in the delivery of such donations or would like to help by collecting items within your area, please let me know or contact Michael @ AANFR.

“The Turning Point” for the Recession Generation

Last night Fox News covered a story about the financial crisis our nation is undergoing; in this story, we were advised that our government has only three options to help rehabilitate our economy prior to sliding further into possible bankruptcy. Out of all of these options, the government continues to bypass what is truly important for the people…comfortable living and survival. Even while Obama announces a three year freeze on government spending, he fails to consider the ultimate principle that we the American people are still being overtaxed and do not wish to pay anymore excess taxes. In the near future we can expect more job losses, higher taxes for the health care bill, and a 10% tax on soda (thanks to Mrs. Obama). While Fox reviewed our options and how the government is not playing their part appropriately, they also gave us a sense of hope by showing us how our parents and grandparents surpasted absolute devastation during the Great Depression. The key to our survival is spend less and save more. As a brief recap in history, the Great Depression hit the US due to the government depreciating the value of the dollar through inflation. As a result taxes were raised up to 77% of the highest income, while unemployment reached it’s max at 14%. How this relates to Naturism, within the first year of the struggles of the great depression, Nude Sunbathing was first declared as a leading route to health, with more than half of all Americans living below a minimum subsistence level. It may just be possible that many of these Americans within this era’s “Recession Generation” had resorted to nude recreation as means of survival over disobedience.

It is by no coincidence that our existing economical situation is being compared to the times of the Great Depression. Some reports have indicated that we are the secondary “Recession Generation”. Many of us just got out college with the promise of excess compensation from increasing our education only to find a new world of unemployment and excessive student loan bills. Other are hoping to make it past their graduation year; however, the State of Ca decided to reduce their chances by putting extreme budget cuts on all school funding. In these cases those students need to pay more and get secondary jobs just to finish what they started and obtain that diploma they worked so hard to achieve. More than 650 teachers have been called to the courthouse in San Diego this week where a single judge will decide whether or not they will have a job next year to teach what we so highly value in our society, education. We are the Secondary Recession Generation! Since we obtained the title of the “Recession Generation” it’s about time we started doing what our parents and grandparents did during their generation…save money and spend less! I cannot think of any better way to save money and spend less than to go nude, just as they did, especially during the hot days in California.

Previously my group of friends and I discussed a possible idea to re-establish our personal freedoms called “The Turning Point”.  For those of you who do not know anything about “The Turning Point”, the plan is as follows:

This will be the Largest event in naturist history!

The mission should you chose to accept it: Change western views on nudism.

The plan

Phase 1: Get everyone involved in this event. This is also the phase where ideas are tossed around and adjustments and improvements are made to the plan, so if you have an idea then please share it and also give feedback on other peoples ideas.

Phase 2: On July 1st everyone is to go to their local city(clothed) and advertise naturism. Convince store owners to put a clothing-optional sign in their window. Then tell the locals about nudism and be sure to tell them that we are coming. Be persistent but we are NOT out to force anyone to do or believe anything so if they refuse to cooperate then respect that and move on to the next person.

Phase 3: On august 1st everyone will start doing their usual daily routine in the nude. If that takes you into town then go into town nude. By this point everyone in town should be expecting you to appear nude in public. Always bring clothes or a towel with you just in case someone asks you to cover up. If you are asked to cover up then politely do so until the offended is no longer around to be offended, then remove your clothing and go about your business.
**Important note! —> I don’t recommend going to work nude since it is so different from being nude in public. It may be acceptable in the near future, but not right now.

Phase 4: By September we will start to see the main objective being accomplished as people will become adjusted to seeing naturists in public.

Alternative Plan: JUST GO NUDE!

Don’t you think now is the time to implement this plan and re-establish our freedoms we were born with and stripped of once we turned the age of 10? Our nation is on the verge of bankruptcy leaving it up to us re-pay the debt which we already paid into, while the only thing that we request from our government is protection and freedom. If we can’t rely on state and federal spending to be done appropriately, we most certainly can take control of our own finances and spend less on clothing and just go nude.

Think of it this way…no clothes=

1) no dirty laundry

2) extreme savings with laundry detergent costs,

3) savings on energy bills

4) savings on maintenance costs for wear and tear of appliances

5) savings on dry cleaning bills and clothing repairs

6) savings on new clothing and apparel due to normal wear and tear

7) environmentally save on water usage, which saves future expenses based on costs from supply and demand.

Special bonus for those who wish to play it safe and start going to Nude Beaches:

**Saving the California State Parks from closure, while maintaining usage and preservation of land and personal freedoms for many generations to come.

Those of us who are attending college at USCD (one of the most preferred and costly schools in California), we have the ultimate advantage by having a school located directly next to Blacks Beach. It is almost as though when the government first declared Blacks Beach as the first legally clothing optional beach in the nation, they knew it would be a necessity to the students and people of La Jolla who prefer to put their money towards valued education, especially while most of us on our own in funding this source of education.

There is a whole lot more at stake to lose,

by not going nude!

Don’t you think it is about time we bring nudism back on the markets and re-establish buying power? Please patronize Downtown Disney stores AND if you find the sign…buy it! Remember it is all about supply and demand. If they supply it and we demand it, the same goes for our beaches in a reverse sense of course; we demand and they supply!
